Are you looking for an easy way to print multiple designs for your clothing business? A DTF gang sheet is a practical solution for combining logos, graphics, names, and artwork onto one transfer sheet. Instead of ordering every design separately, you can arrange multiple prints together and make better use of your transfer material.
At Bostonian DTF, we provide custom DTF gang sheet printing options for clothing brands, small businesses, print shops, artists, and apparel creators. Whether you are preparing T-shirts, hoodies, uniforms, or promotional merchandise, our gang sheet solutions help make your printing workflow more organized.
What Is a DTF Gang Sheet?
A DTF gang sheet is a large transfer sheet containing multiple designs printed together using Direct-to-Film technology. After receiving your sheet, you can cut out each individual design and apply it to compatible garments using a heat press.
For example, a single gang sheet can contain front shirt graphics, back prints, sleeve logos, brand labels, team numbers, and promotional designs.
This makes DTF gang sheets useful for businesses that need several different transfers without ordering each design separately.
Benefits of Using DTF Gang Sheets
Save Transfer Material
Combining multiple designs on one sheet helps you use the available printing area more efficiently. A well-organized layout can reduce unused space and improve the value of your order.
Print Multiple Designs Together
A DTF gang sheet lets you combine different graphics, logos, and artwork into one order. This is helpful when preparing apparel for customers, events, or clothing collections.
Improve Production Efficiency
Having several designs printed together can simplify your workflow. You can separate the transfers after delivery and apply them to the appropriate garments as needed.
Support Your Clothing Business
Small clothing brands and growing businesses can use gang sheets to prepare merchandise, restock popular designs, and manage multiple customer orders.
Customize Your Designs
You can combine large graphics with smaller logos, names, and other artwork, provided the designs fit within the selected sheet dimensions.

DTF Gang Sheets for Clothing Brands
A clothing brand often needs several designs for different products and collections. A DTF gang sheet makes it possible to organize multiple graphics into one production order.
You can include:
- Front and back T-shirt graphics
- Small chest logos
- Sleeve prints
- Brand labels
- Hoodie designs
- Limited-edition artwork
- Names and numbers
Whether you are launching a new collection or fulfilling existing orders, gang sheets can help you manage your transfers more efficiently.
Custom DTF Gang Sheets for Small Businesses
DTF gang sheets are also useful for businesses that produce branded apparel. Restaurants, gyms, schools, contractors, event organizers, and local retailers can combine multiple logos and designs on one sheet.
For example, a business preparing uniforms might include small chest logos, larger back graphics, and sleeve designs in the same order.
This approach can simplify production and help businesses organize their artwork for different garments.
How to Prepare Your Artwork
Good file preparation is essential for achieving clean printing results. Bostonian DTF recommends high-resolution PNG artwork at 300 DPI with transparent backgrounds for custom gang sheet uploads.
Before placing your order, check these details:
- Resolution: Use sharp, high-quality artwork.
- Background: Remove unwanted backgrounds when transparency is required.
- Dimensions: Set each design to its intended print size.
- Spacing: Leave room between graphics for cutting.
- Layout: Ensure designs fit inside the sheet boundaries.
- Preview: Check spelling, sizing, and placement before checkout.
A carefully prepared layout helps reduce mistakes and makes it easier to use your printed transfers.
How to Apply DTF Gang Sheet Transfers
Once your DTF gang sheet arrives, cut out the individual designs and apply them to compatible garments using a heat press.
Bostonian DTF lists a starting temperature of approximately 320–325°F and a pressing time of 9–15 seconds for its transfers. Actual settings can vary depending on the transfer, fabric, and equipment, so follow the product-specific instructions.
For better results:
- Smooth the garment before pressing.
- Position the design carefully.
- Use the recommended temperature, pressure, and pressing time.
- Peel the film according to the transfer instructions.
- Complete any recommended finishing press.
Testing the settings on a sample garment can help you determine the best process for your equipment.
